A little sad

I'm just a bit sad this morning. The safe haven of the temporary network closet "office" has to be given up.

I'm actually in the process of setting myself back up in my previous offce as I type this--well, I'm taking a short break. Anyway, there are a couple of bonuses to this, so the move back is bittersweet, then? The bonuses? Winamp playlist is back up to 7,902 songs--not counting streaming radio station, obviously. Having a 19 inch monitor has been sorely missed. The 15 in the temporary office just didn't quite cut it. Now that my PC can reconnect to its network drives, it seems to be running quite a bit better, as opposed to trying to search for the drives every once in a while. The wireless system were on is BLAZING fast now. It used to hiccup quite a bit, but the replacement equipment seems to be much better so far. It's verra nice.

To read this, it seems the bonuses outweigh the negatives. Having a window view is going to be missed. Having friends stop by since I was in a more convenient location will be missed. Having every Tom, Dick, and Harry stop by with perceived high priority jobs since I was in a more convenient location wil NOT be missed whatsoever.

As I read this, you name the pluses of going back to your new office but the seeing the zoloft character makes me think that you would rather sacrifice and stay where you were. I dont know just a guess!!!

Yeah, you'd think I'd be happy, with the bonuses and all. Still, it's an isolated feeling not being where most of "the action" takes place.

Zoloft icon seemed fitting.

Moving Woes

Well....as long as they don't take your stapler, you won't have to burn the place down. ^_~

Interestingly enough, my black Swingline is still here.

My friend Luc has a red Swingline that went missing for at least a month.

He bought it on eBay to see how long it'd take before someone grabbed it. Silly man.

I'll bet you, that's what it was, they wanted the place to burn!

congrats on being back in your new office and for getting so much of your music back. IT is not fair that you have rapid high speed wait yes it is.

You are lucky that you have moved because today I went by to hang a sign on your office and you were gone.
The sign said:Computer Services Free scanning, anti-virus removal, and CD burning office
