A cool thing and a hideous thing

On my way to get something to eat, a stop light caught me, and forced me to sit. While sitting, I saw some random guy walking around doing whatever. In the middle of crossing the street, he bent down, picked up something, and flung it towards the sidewalk. It was unclear what he was doing, until I looked a bit more closely and saw a few birds pecking around for food. Now they had a bunch, since he thew some huge pieces of bread at them.

While walking out, I saw an oddly colored Toyota Avalon. No joke, it was something like root beer colored. Sadly, the Toyota site has no trace of this dark brown color anywhere--well, anywhere that I looked in the two minutes that I searched. So, either someone had it custom painted this way, or got a good deal on a discontinued color?

Sadly, I think I'm closer to getting older, since Chrysler's 300M has looked really nice to me. I am ashamed.

I drive a red 2000 Chevy Metro. My friends refer to it as "The Ladybug", but I call her the "Red Baroness" myself.

She gets incredible gas mileage, though, while everyone else I know spends $30 at each station stop, so there. *defensive about her tiny little non-status symbol car*

No husband/kids to worry about getting that minivan/otherwise sensible vehicle just yet =)

Breaking down to buy a Windstar was kind of a sad day, but we really needed the room with both kids and all.

Heh, the Ladybug.

that is seriously nasty. That would have to be worse than that teal aquamarine color vehichles are sometimes painted and worse than pink. It sounds like they popped on their vehcile.

Yeah, it was something of a poop brown as well.

Road tanks; why does everyone feel that they should be driving planet-hating bloat-mobiles? "Kyoto Accord? Fcuk the Kyoto Accord." should be stencilled on all catastro-vehicles. Arrr!

I know, that's part of my shame re: the 300M.

I want to take a closer look at the Smart Roadster, but I probably wouldn't be able to get one, huh?
