Another game that's caught my eye. . .

Evil Genius. I've always wanted to be one.

Yeah.

Hmm, I don't know if I should even go look. I already got stuck on KoL....

It's okay.

Would you like to know more about wherever you're at in KoL? Hmmmm?

Of course. Right now I at level 3. Someone gave me a familiar kit so I am growing some familiars as we speak. I can't seem to find new adventures though. I need one more spider web to bring to the gourd tower. LIke I said, I keep doing the same things over and over again because I don't have enough moxie points.

Adventures can be obtained a couple of ways. Every night, you'll get 40 adventures (maxing out to 200, if you don't play for a few days, any more than that, and you'll lose 'em). Eating food will net you adventures as well. Each food item has a fullness factor. Once you're full, you can't eat anything that day. Same thing with booze. Drinking certain drink will get you stats and adventures. The draw back is that your Drunkeness level will increase as well. You max out at 15, 20 or so with the Liver of Steel skill. If you have clan members that will give you the Ode to Booze buff, you get more adventures and resistance to booze.

Some of my favorite items: Roll in the Hay (good mount of adventures and stats for the price), Hell Ramen (oh, SO expensive, and you can only eat two a day, but really, really good). Fuzzbumps are highly sought after, and priced highly. Supposedly a good drink, though.

Adventuring in the Sleazy, Dark Alley in the Wrong Side of the Tracks should get you Moxie points after a bit. If you have a blood faced volleyball familiar with you, it increases the amount of stats you get during battles. After a while, a baby gravy fairy would be something to seek out. Those will root out extra items during a battle.

Hope that helps without giving too much away.

Definitely not worth $49.95 at EB, but once it goes to the bargain bins, I would probably buy it.

I wonder what the workers and guards going nuts was all about.
