Punk Rock Academy reminds me of my friend Matt May. The last I talked to him was a couple of years ago when he was headed back to PA and possibly, culinary school.

You know how some people you just click with, and it takes very little to be friends with them? That's how Matt and I were, well in my opinion anyway.

I think I should try calling his parents sometime and see how he's doing.

Heh..."Punk Rock Academy" reminds me of my jackass ex Mikey (the one I played paintball against). He used to play it in his truck and sing along, badly. He even had a "Member of the Punk Rock Academy" sticker on the back of his truck. He was one of those guys who liked to go on about how "punk rock" he was. :lol:

Punk, was he? Was he into G.G. Allin, Poison Idea and B'Last!? Even a couple of them are bit out there for me, and would make the typical Blink 182 and Green Day fan twitch.

I don't remember him listening to any of those. He loved The Ramones, even got their logo tattooed on his arm last year. The one good thing that came out of our relationship was that he got me into The Ramones. He also liked Bouncing Souls, Billy Idol, Atom and His Package, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, The Pixies, Blink 182 (I TOLD him it was pop-punk and crap, and he argued that it was "bubblegum punk." Yeah, whatever, man.), and a few other bands I can't remember right now because I've spent the past year trying to put that moron out of mind.

Hey, it just occurred to me that yesterday was the one-year anniversary of him dumping me over e-mail! :lol: And one year ago today, I saw Radiohead in concert.
