Well, no, not quite yet, but it will be headed home sometime tomorrow.

Sometime between noon and 12:30, power was restored to my area of Lake Wales. I was sitting on the couch wondering why it'd gotten even cooler than it already was with the box fan. I looked up and the ceiling fan and lights were on in the family room (it was the only breaker I'd left on).

In the last two hours, I've vacuumed the house, swept all the tile floors and rearranged canned food and refrigerated food.

I have greatly appreciated everyone's thoughts and sympathies during the past few days, and hope that those others without power will get it back soon.

I've been wanting to retake a picture of them like that, and see if I can get him to smile one of sunny smiles. In the current one, he looks a bit frumpy (for lack of a better term).
