Huh. A free lunch. . .

That was odd, I didn't really want fast food, but I had to rush back to the office before the person working with me left for the day.

I put my order in, and pulled my car around. The person working the window was taking someone else's more complex order, and trying to run my card as well. You could read the frustration on her face as she tried again, and again. The fifth time she called for someone. The someone asked for the total, looked and me and said, "Don't worry about it."

I suppose if I'd had been a huge order, a way to run that card would've been found.

Never question free food.

Absolutely right! Funny how it tasted better as a result of being free.

How are things with you? I've been slow at reading people's LJs lately.

You can use cards at fast food windows now?? Details.

McDonald's (which is where I was--yes, I was desperate) and Wendy's take 'em. The Taco Bell in the mall takes 'em, but charges a 99 cent fee--which is really a bunch of bullshite, really. Sonic's always taken them.

So far, however, no joy yet at BK, Arby's or Checkers.

I really know too much about this, it seems.
