I really shouldn't have turned to National Geographic Nature's Nightmares: The Body Snatchers a little while ago. Now I'm feeling all itchy and uncomfortable. I fear fleas, tapeworms, bedbugs, lice, even the parasites that infest sharks, snails, and ants.

The ones that mess with the snails were kind of interesting to look at, but still quite disgusting.

ick! i have real parasite issues... i can't stand the thought of anything living off my bodily fluids. i still have a scar on my neck from when i was bitten (sucked?) by a tick when i was about 9. awful.

They're all pretty gross, but tapeworms gross me out the most . . . YUCK! I think my sister has had a parasite and she named it George or something . . . :) Although when I went to Fiji, we all took this medicine(?) that was supposed to kill worms in the lymphatic system, to prevent something-something filarsis. But the 8 pills knocked me out, I wonder if the pills were killing something I already had in my body . . . hmmmmm :)

I'm not sure, I don't think it was a big worm or anything, maybe like an amobea (sp?). She got it in Thailand . . .
