Most current CD

I'm doing this mostly for my benefit. Make fun of the selections, if you like, I'll probably do the same later on myself.

  • Natalie Merchant - Space Oddity
  • Pet Shop Boys - The Samurai in Autumn
  • Big Head Todd and the Monsters - Bittersweet
  • Ivy - Worry About You
  • The Cranberries - Close To You
  • Evanescence - My Immortal
  • The Polyphonic Spree - Light & Day/Reach for the Sun
  • LEN - Cheekybugger
  • The Stranglers - Golden Brown
  • James - Born of Frustration
  • Rancid - Fall Back Down
  • Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl?
  • Metallica - Last Caress/Green Hell
  • Eve 6 - You Really Got Me
  • Primus - Jerry Was a Race Car Driver
  • House of Pain - Top O' The Morning to Ya
  • Jay-Zeezer - Change Clothes (The World Has Turned and Left)
  • Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead

Rachel and I were talking about the two different versions I've heard of My Immortal, and I mentioned my preference for the more subdued version, you know, the one that doesn't have the guitar part in it. She said that the rest of the band had to have something to do, or else they'll start to get disgruntled with Amy Lee like No Doubt with Gwen Stefani. Oh.

I feel badly for poor LEN, there were some other decent songs on their CD, but they never got any airplay. Steal My Sunshine got all the attention, and off they went into the sunset. I never was able to resist that piano part from More, More, More, though.

eee! *Felicity Flashback*

Ivy! (I'm assuming you don't mean Operation Ivy, here...) but they have this awesome track that I loved from the Felicity soundtrack, called "Got a Feeling."

(actually that sounds like a pretty awesome mix!)

Heh, no not Operation Ivy, though I do love them immensely. The Ivy song on the CD can currently be heard as the theme for Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital.

CD burning is something I don't get to do very often, and if I had the money, I'd do it for others and mail them CDs from time to time, just like in H.S. and college.

also the broke up Ben Moody left the band and most people don't even know that he left
