Holy crap!

Icelandic "Iceman" grabs and kills a 660 pound shark in shallow water.

Ok, I'm only swimming if he's around, then.

Cool. Codes to bypass the recorded-message purgatory and get a live customer service rep. See, for me, this isn't always too helpful. If at all possible, I would actually prefer to stick with the automated systems. Anything to avoid talking to someone else, I say. Now, obviously, in some emergency situations, I'd have to opt for the live person, but really, that's not that often at all.

Whoa. A five-legged dog. With pictures. "She thought it had been hit by a car."

Unrelated movie thing: I was invited to go see Kill Bill this afternoon, but had to decline. I would have made more of an effort to go, but since the DirecTV installer ran quite late yesterday, I felt a bit guilty about asking to take off of work for something so frivolous. I mean, I know I'd really like the movie and all, but I'd have a tough time justifying it to my boss--especially since he hated loathed it. Oh well. I will be sure to rent it.

amen. those theatres are a beacon of hope in the movie industry.

Indeed.

Sadly, the true difficult is in finding a babysitter we trust, since we hate bugging family all the time for it.

So, for now, rentals will, unless it's an absolutely can't miss movie, which isn't too often anymore.
