Invention and Exposure

Remote control Margaret Atwood...sort of.

Now, c'mon Scott Stapp--sabotage? You can't PAY for this kind of exposure. Really, though, what did you think would happen with a video tape of your exploits? Now, if it were say, the early 80s and there wasn't a way where things can spread at the speed of light, then it could be understandable that you'd be surprised at what's going on. But, there's been a long precedent for private videos to become widely available for mass consumption. It sure would've been something to have been privy to 311 (allegedly?) jumping him.

The Long Pen is AWESOME! Yay, Margaret Atwood!

I can see where some would say that this will isolate readers from authors more, but still, it seems pretty cool to me.

I think it could go either way. I mean, she's still interacting with the people for whom she is signing books.

Definitely.

And in my book, something is always better than nothing, you know?

In most things, yes, totally.

A valid point indeed.

I am trying to work on being more positive, however, sometimes I paint my strokes too wide... :)

Despite my typically sunny LJ disposition, positive is a tough thing for me to be.

Working on it, though.
