Bad Moon Rising

It's curious how well An American Werewolf in London (to me) has held up. It's been twenty-five years since it's original release and for me it's pretty much the definitive werewolf movie.

Sure, some may say The Howling or Underworld or perhaps Dog Soldiers or Ginger Snaps (both of which I liked immensely). I've not seen Cursed yet, but from what I've read and heard it's pretty abysmal. Too much studio interference is what I've gathered.

Now, watching Griffin Dunne playing Jack, I now know who Jack Black has reminded me of in the past. Of course, I could be alone in that opinion. Jack Black is a bit more extroverted, it seems, though.

On another note, Rachel's parents are pretty cool. They just called a bit ago to see if I needed anything. Thankfully, I think I'm set, so I declined. The Fruity Pebbles and bran flakes in the cupboard taunt me, though. I can wait a few more days before partaking of some cereal joie de vivre. I KNEW I should've bought some oatmeal, though. Oh well...

Hombre, don't you own or can you not fashion a mortar and pestle.

I was actually just thinking about Cursed today. I really liked the movie. I wouldn't say it's the deepest or the most incredible movie I've ever seen, but it was definitely a fun and entertaining werewolf flick.
