I haven't listened to Ministry's Jesus Built My Hotrod in I can't remember how long.

I had forgotten that I meant to look up the source for some of the samples in the song (one of which is the subject line above). So I did a moment ago and found that some of them were from Wise Blood (link for the Wiki entry on the novel here). One was from Blue Velvet--which I didn't even realize.

That's really all I can say about this.

Even scarier still would be how much more commonplace than unusual this probably is.

I do have to admit, in my own life I grew up watching things at a much younger age than I should have. Keep in mind that coming from a single parent home gave me more opportunities to see things that I otherwise wouldn't have.
