Mmmm. . .30 Gigs. . .
The 30 GB Zen Xtra came arrived yesterday--after I spent the majority of yesterday convincing myself that it wouldn't arrive for the weekend. Perhaps going with that strategy helped? Probably not.
It had about 10 gigs of songs already on it, and I kept a large amount of those. It's got 16.872 gigs left on it (after staying up 'til about one or so transferring songs, thankfully Rachel's laptop has USB 2.0). Amazing, since every Smith, Tori Amos, Stone Roses, Sundays, and a couple of other artists' complete catalogs were loaded onto it.
Next, I'm going to seek out an FM transmitter. Sadly, Creative's MP3 players do not have one that is nearly as amazing as Griffin's iTrip for the iPod. That thing is REALLY cool, to put it mildly. Two other transmitters have caught my eye, the Belkin Tunecast F8V3080 and a couple of Audia X ones. Still undecided as yet. A couple of points in favor of the Belkin, since my boss just bought one from Wal-Mart--the kind that only let you transmit on four different lower end frequencies. He said it worked GREAT for him.
