Movie temptations

Let's see, wasn't able to watch Return of the Living Dead (don't laugh too hard) or Swimming. Again. Also added to the list is Dressed to Kill, which I've never seen.

Was, however, able to watch The Terminal, and ended up caring about those people on screen. Spielberg and Hanks, thanks for making me feel something. Sheesh. At one point, even Catheine Zeta-Jones looked quite attractive, despite her not being one of my favorite actors. For a split second, she almost looked like a Hispanic Meg Ryan. Perhaps it's time for an eye prescription for me?

Bernie Mac was considered for the role (assuming Tom Hanks' role)? Mmmm, that may have been uh, bad? Maybe?

Boca 1999

I showed this to Rachel the other evening. It's Boca '99: Best of College a Cappella 1999 (there are others, as well).

Intially, it seemed natural to laugh quite heartily at this. After listening to samples of the songs on iTunes, my mind was changed. Verdi Cries sounds as good if not better than 10,000 Maniacs original--which is saying a lot, as I really like the original.

Apparently, there are a bunch.
