All better, and goodbye Sixpence None the Richer

So, Rachel woke up a new person. Going to bed at 9:00 p.m. and letting whatever it was run its course helped, I guess.

Today has been dark, gloomy, and rainy, in other words a perfect day for me. If I could've called in, I would've. In case I hadn't mentioned it, nebsllimBen told me that Sixpence None the Richer has called it quits.

I fell in love with Leigh Nash (Bingham at the time) and the band's music when I was in the middle of an internship in '93. I was almost within arm's distance at their show at Universal Studios theme park a while back. Even when Rachel and I saw Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, we weren't that close. I wished I could have seen them when they did a leg of 10,000 Maniacs tour.

While I'm not as sad as I was the day Bill Berry chose to leave R.E.M., I'm still a bit melancholy about it. So long Sixpence.

Wow. Death Star. Legos.

I just can't imagine having the time involved in creating this.

Duh! Instrumental version. . .

I'm sitting here enjoying Getting Away With It by Electronic and waiting for the lyrics to start in.

I was sure the vocals started at this one spot. . .nothing. So, I waited a bit longer.

Still, no Bernard Sumner singing.

A little bit longer. Nothing, well duh! It's the Instrumental version. Sheesh.

The Last of the Famous International Playboys. . .

This song started playing, and I just remembered that I didn't get to watch The Krays the other night.

I never wanted to kill
I AM NOT NATURALLY EVIL
Such things I do
Just to make myself
More attractive to you
HAVE I FAILED?

Oh, Morrissey.
