How bored, and sad am I?

I did not know that Alexis Bledel was of Mexican and Argentinian ancestry. I also did not know that Spanish was the first language she learned.

My first language was English, and then I learned Spanish at home, and at the evil nun collective where I attended school for three years. Those three years were an exercise in humiliation and I would say I was scarred me for life.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is on Sci Fi right now, and I watched it for a bit, but I chose to watch Michael J. Fox on Scrubs instead. Since I grew up with TV as my best friend, it felt like seeing an old friend again. Pathetic, I know. Guess I'll just have to rent it sometime. It felt like I was watching a VR Bridget Fonda with Ming-Na's voice.

Sundance is running Nora--Ewan McGregor as James Joyce! Yet another film I'll have to wait to watch again, as I've missed too much of it now.

When it rains, it pours, indeed.

Complete and absolute boredom hasn't yet overtaken me, or I'd switch to Daredevil on HBO, though it does have Jennifer Garner in it. Frank Miller's Elektra saga seems like it was done recently, it's difficult to believe it's been some twenty one years. I wonder, would Monica Belucci have been a better Elektra? The Casting Calls that Wizard (or was it Inquest) used to do used to really entertain me.

If you've made it this far, I'm sorry.
