It's been entirely too busy, with several hundred new e-mail accounts to create, fifty or so on-line classes to set up, and all sorts of weird software to get installed in the labs.

I wish I had a byte counter--you know like one of those mileage counters, but for bytes. I'm curious as to how much data I've sent out into the aether.

I forgot to mention the huge spider that decided the garage entrance was an excellent place to build a web.

It took up half of the garage door. I'd never seen a web that large, and now wish I'd taken a picture of it. The last time I tried to take a picture of a spider was not a good experience. Of course, I was in fear of getting bitten by a black widow at that time.

So, I destroyed the web as gently as I could, but I think the spider died when it hit the asphalt. Heavy rain and spiders don't get along, I guess.
