Where have you been all this time?
This is going to be a long week, or long couple of weeks. While I was lucky enough to have a four day weekend, I now have to go through ten days in a row of working.
On Saturday, I get to go in at 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I keep reminding myself that this will be good for the upcoming vacation.
There was almost a vacation emergency, as the person who'd originally agreed to take care of our menagerie of pets had to back out. Fortunately, another kind couple said they were able to do it.
Vacation consists of several (six, I believe) families in a cabin in the hills, getting ready for our niece's wedding. While I am not an outdoorsy type of guy, I am very much looking forward to this vacation. As an only child, I do wonder how I will do with such a large gathering of people. Part of me wishes I could get a hold of a laptop with broadband, as a refuge. I'm anti-social that way sometimes. Large groups usually exhaust me. I'm not right, am I?
